Q. I'm a M2F TG who is currently married to a wonderful woman who has been a great inspiration to me. She is my greatest supporter and though she does not understand why, she does accept my transition. I've only been in transition since February officially, but I'm finding that I have more of an interest in men. How would you suggest I go about exploring this issue without jeopardizing my relationship with my wife? posted Nov. 1, 1999

A. Congratulations of having such a loving and supportive partner. That she is going through this with you speaks volumes for your love for each other and for your quality as a person. To have reached this point together you must have a relationship built on honesty and trust. The only recommendation I can make is to continue that. Be honest with her and open. Tell her what you feel and think. It may still put things in jeopardy, but not as surely as being withdrawn, sneaky and dishonest would.
