Q&A
Q. Is there any relationship between shaving off body hair and turning to crossdressing? I started shaving area's of my body about 10 month's ago, since then I've become, more and more like a woman. I'm 41 year's old and recently divorced, I've always crossdressed but never had thought's and feeling's like I've had as of late. Not only do I have different thought's , but my body is changing! Please let me know your opinion? posted Nov. 1, 1999

A. The only relationship one can make between shaving off body hair and crossdressing is that some crossdressers shave, but not all men who shave crossdress. I would suggest that the reason for your increased feminine feelings have more to do with your recent divorce. Now you are "free" and able to express yourself without having to deal with your wife. Even if she was "accepting" before, subconsciously you more than likely always held back so as not to rock the boat or risk her disapproval. If she was un-knowing or un-accepting, then all the more reason for feeling more free. As to your body changing, I suspect it has more to do with your own perceptions rather than any actual physical changes. A body doesn't change without having some agent act upon it. Weight loss, changes in shape etc. do not happen spontaneously.
